POSITION SUMMARY
The Patient Transporter is an integral part of the patient care team providing prompt, courteous, customer-focused service to the patients, visitors, and coworkers of Boston Medical Center. The Patient Transporter is responsible for patient transport within the hospital and for miscellaneous functions as well. He/she contributes to service excellence by fostering collaboration among and between team members as well as other ancillary departments.

JOB REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION
High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred
EXPERIENCE
6-12 Months of customer service or hospital experience
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED
CPR/BLS certification preferred
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English Ability to lift without any limitations
Compensation Range:
$17.92- $26.63 This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications.
