Job Description
Safely transport patients between nursing units, OR, and holding rooms Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and families Assist with patient transfers under the supervision of licensed nurses Deliver lab specimens and supplies promptly and accurately Follow protocols for transporting deceased patients to the mortuary Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment at all times High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous experience in patient transport, care, or customer service is a plus Current BLS (CPR) certification required Strong communication skills and a caring bedside manner Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment Frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
