_PARAGRAPH JOB_DESCRIPTION.SHARE.HTML Midland, Michigan Nursing Support 2:30 p.m. - 11 p.m. Part-Time Afternoon Shift Transportation Services 48442 Job Description Summary This position is responsible for the transportation of patients, equipment, specimens, medical records and miscellaneous items throughout the entire medical center campus. Employees are responsible for dispatching and prioritizing runs. They transport preoperative and postoperative patients to and from the operating room. These employees keep track of their daily statistics and finalize report at end of the month. Responsibilities (50%)- Transport patients throughout the medical center including occasional ones to Riecker Surgery Center, Campus Ridge or Women's Center. Transports pre- and post-op patients to and from operating room and PACU. Discharges patients. (25%)
- Transports supplies, equipment, specimens, medical records throughout the medical center including Riecker Surgery Center. (25%)
- Works as dispatcher and prioritizes runs based on patient needs.
