Must have compassion for and desire to work with elderly Must meet all state health requirements Ability to perform all duties and responsibilities under essential job functions Essential Functions Document resident activity on approved forms in a manner that is legible and understandable Provide resident care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, changing bed linens, positioning, transferring, and incontinence care while using appropriate techniques Observe any changes in resident condition, take action to ensure safety of resident and report to supervisor Make rounds as directed to check on resident status Respond to call lights in a timely manner Vital sign monitoring will be performed as needed by personnel with current training to do so Assist with dining service and activity program as directed Understand and follow safety and infection control policies and procedures Understand and follow resident care plan and document accordingly Hear, understand, and respond to resident communication Report incidents and completes appropriate paperwork Collect, wash, and care for laundrylinens in accordance with The Orchard policy.
