Job Description
This position is one of the key people that deliver top notch customer service to our patients to ensure the best Patient Experience possible. The right candidate needs to have great customer service skills, empathy and compassion as well as enjoy being part of a great team that strives to deliver the best customer service while having a good time. Previous patient services experience is not required. We are looking for a great person that enjoys making people happy, we will train you how to do the job. Great opportunity to join a Great Team! Duties include, but are not limited to: Taking patient orders over the phone Helping patients select menu items that are allowed on their prescribed diet Entering patient orders into our Room Service System Working closely with cooks to ensure patient order accuracy Placing/Presenting ordered items on trays for delivery to patients Checking completed trays for accuracy Delivering meals to patients Patient line production of dessert items Stocking of patient line items Taking inventory, pulling, delivering and stocking of Patient Floor Stocked items Upholding strict sanitation and food safety guidelines Dish room duties during peak periods (done as a team) Hours 37.5 scheduled hours per week, that could include a combination of morning and afternoon shifts (varies by the need of the department).
Typical shifts include:
(6:00 am- 2:00 pm), (7:00 am
- 3:00 pm) and (10:30 am
- 6:30 pm).
WILL NOT
be required to enter any patient rooms that are under "Precautions" (This includes but is not limited to COVID)About Our Benefits:
