Overview:

Sentara is currently hiring a Patient Transporter to work at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital, located in Virginia Beach, in the Intensive Care Unit.

Hours/Shift:

Full-time, night shift.

Department/Position Overview:

Safely escorts and transports patients within all areas of the hospital using safe body mechanics. Strictly adheres to all safety rules and initiatives of Sentara. Communicates clearly with all staff, visitors, and patients. Ensures adequate communication of information between central transport and other departments. Education High School Diploma or Equivalent Certification/Licensure American Health Associate BLS Certification required Experience Patient care experience preferred.
