This role works collaboratively with Doctors of Chiropractic (DCs), Nurse Practitioners (NPs), and Medical Doctors (MDs) to coordinate patient-centered care. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in exercise science, experience in a clinical or hospital-based environment, excellent computer skills, and a passion for helping patients regain function, mobility, and quality of life. Training will be provided in additional therapeutic modalities. Key Responsibilities Assist providers with therapeutic exercise and range-of-motion training for injured patients Deliver cost-effective treatments to improve motion, mobility, strength, and stability Help reduce reliance on medications and support non-surgical treatment alternatives • Motivate and educate patients to promote optimal functional outcomes Promote healthy lifestyles by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination Collaborate and consult with DCs, NPs, MDs, and other healthcare professionals Monitor patient response to care and communicate progress to providers Accurately document patient care services and progress in the electronic health record (EHR) Required Qualifications Proven work experience as a Personal Trainer or Physical Trainer Experience working in a clinical, rehabilitation, or hospital setting preferred Strong understanding of anatomy, biomechanics, and therapeutic exercise Ability to manage patients with diverse personalities and injury presentations Current knowledge of rehabilitation and exercise treatment practices Strong computer skills, including comfort with EHR systems Professional demeanor and commitment to ethical patient care Strong desire for continued learning and professional growth Certifications (Required or Preferred) Current Personal Trainer Certification (NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA, or equivalent) CPR/AED Certification (required) Additional rehabilitation or corrective exercise certifications are a plus Skills & Competencies Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment Patient-focused, compassionate, and motivational approach Strong organizational and documentation skills Professional behavior and attention to detail
