Job Description
Barre Instructor Overview We are seeking energetic, community-minded individuals to join our team as Barre Instructors. In this role, you will lead engaging, full-body fitness classes focused on strength, movement, and overall well-being while creating an encouraging and inclusive experience for every participant. We are looking for individuals who are confident connecting with others, passionate about movement and wellness, and excited to be part of a supportive studio community. Previous fitness instruction experience is a plus, but we also welcome candidates with backgrounds in fitness, dance, yoga, Pilates, coaching, teaching, or other movement-based disciplines. Comprehensive training will be provided to selected candidates. Responsibilities Lead engaging and effective group barre classes Create a welcoming, positive, and inclusive environment for participants of all fitness levels Demonstrate movements clearly and coach proper form and alignment Provide modifications and options to support individual needs and abilities Motivate participants through clear, encouraging, and confident coaching Build relationships with clients and contribute to a strong studio community Welcome and engage with clients before and after class Learn and consistently follow established class programming, methodology, and studio standards Participate in ongoing training, coaching, team meetings, and continuing education Maintain a professional, reliable, and team-oriented approach Qualifications Passion for fitness, movement, wellness, and helping others Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable speaking, coaching, and leading in front of groups Positive, welcoming, and energetic presence Ability to learn movement sequences and coach movement to music Reliable, professional, and receptive to feedback Previous experience in group fitness, barre, Pilates, yoga, dance, coaching, or teaching is preferred but not required CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain certification Ability to complete required instructor training What We Offer Comprehensive instructor training Ongoing coaching and professional development Supportive, team-oriented studio environment Opportunity to build relationships within a strong fitness community Opportunities for continued growth and development If you love movement, enjoy connecting with people, and want to create an experience that leaves others feeling stronger and supported, we'd love to hear from you.
