Part-time | Preferred availability of 3+ classes per week Join Our Team Skyline Country Club is seeking a professional, energetic, and dependable Group Fitness Instructor to lead safe, engaging, and effective fitness classes for our members.

Skyline serves a diverse and active membership with varying fitness levels, including a strong population of active adults age 60 and older. The ideal candidate will create an inclusive and welcoming environment, provide appropriate exercise modifications, and deliver a consistently high-quality member experience. Responsibilities Lead safe, engaging, and effective group fitness classes. Provide appropriate modifications, progressions, and exercise alternatives for participants with varying fitness levels and abilities. Create a positive, inclusive, and motivating class environment. Arrive prepared, organized, and on time for all scheduled classes. Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and prioritize participant safety. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while providing exceptional service to members. Build positive relationships with members and contribute to a welcoming fitness environment. Communicate effectively and professionally with club management, staff, and members. Maintain current certifications and stay informed on current group fitness practices and safety standards. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of group fitness instruction experience preferred. Current group fitness certification from a nationally recognized organization, such as NASM, ACE, ACSM, AFAA, ISSA, or equivalent. Current CPR/AED certification, or ability to obtain certification prior to beginning instruction. Experience working with adults of varying ages and fitness levels is preferred. Experience working with active older adults, particularly those age 60+, is highly preferred. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational coaching skills. Strong understanding of exercise safety, proper technique, and appropriate modifications. Reliable, professional, enthusiastic, and self-motivated. Ability to create an engaging class experience while maintaining a high level of professionalism. Preferred Availability Available to consistently teach 3 or more classes per week . Morning, evening, and/or weekend availability is a plus. Ability to commit to a consistent weekly schedule is preferred.
Compensation:
This is a 1099 independent contractor position offering competitive compensation with an instructor-favored revenue split. Skyline Country Club manages class registration, payment collection, and instructor payouts, allowing instructors to focus on what they do best: delivering exceptional classes, developing relationships with members, and building a strong following.
