Distinguishing Characteristics Under the direction of the Recreation Specialist, Recreation Leaders will be responsible for the supervision of children (6
  • 12 years of age) in the Benicia Parks & Community Services Department.
Job duties include planning and scheduling daily activities such as arts and crafts, indoor and outdoor games, low-key sports activities, and special events. Standard First Aid and CPR certifications are required once hired for the Recreation Leader position. The Recreation Leader position is a mandated reporter position. Representative Duties / Qualifications Must be at least 15 years of age. Previous experience working with children preferred.
