Job Description

Personal Trainer & Recovery Coach Anytime Fitness - Glendora, CA Part-Time | $20-$35/hour

+ Commission We're Looking for More Than Someone Who Can Train Anytime Fitness Glendora is growing, and we're looking for an exceptional Personal Trainer & Recovery Coach who wants to build something. We already have trainers on our team. This opening is for someone who brings energy, reliability, initiative, professionalism and personality to the gym every time they walk through the door. We want someone who notices members, starts conversations, learns names, builds relationships and looks for opportunities to help — without needing to be constantly told what to do. If you want to clock in, train one client and disappear between appointments, this probably isn't the right position. If you want to build a client base, lead people, earn more as you grow and help raise the standard of the team , we want to meet you. Compensation This position has multiple ways to earn. $20/hour base pay Higher hourly pay when training clients Training pay can reach $35/hour Additional commission opportunities Earning opportunities through 1-on-1, semi-private and group training Opportunity to grow your income by building both a training and recovery clientele Your earning potential grows with your contribution. We want a trainer who is interested in developing clients, increasing sessions, creating training opportunities and becoming an important part of the club. What You'll Do Provide 1-on-1 personal training Lead semi-private training Lead small-group and group training Perform trainer-assisted stretching Perform trainer-assisted percussion recovery sessions Help members understand Training, Nutrition and Recovery Build relationships with members throughout the club Introduce members to training and recovery services Identify members who may benefit from coaching Follow up with prospective and current clients Build and maintain your training and recovery schedule Help create energy and participation around club programs and challenges Maintain a clean, organized and welcoming training environment Contribute to the club when you are not actively training a client Who We're Looking For You should be: Personable — comfortable starting conversations and connecting with different types of people Proactive — you see opportunities instead of waiting for instructions Reliable — when you commit to a schedule, we can count on you Motivated — you want to build your hours, clients and income Confident leading people — individually or in a group Professional — members can trust you Coachable — you accept feedback and continue improving Team-oriented — you want the entire club to succeed Positive — you bring good energy to the environment You do not need to be the loudest trainer in the gym. You do need personality, confidence and a genuine interest in helping people. Qualifications Personal training certification from a nationally recognized organization Current CPR/AED certification Experience with personal, semi-private or group training Experience with assisted stretching, mobility, recovery or percussion Strong communication and people skills Comfortable approaching and engaging members Comfortable coaching more than one client at a time If you are an excellent trainer who has not yet worked extensively with assisted recovery services but are interested in learning, we still encourage you to apply. Why This Opportunity Is Different We are building a stronger Training

+ Nutrition

+ Recovery culture at Anytime Fitness Glendora. You are not limited to one way of coaching. The right trainer can build a schedule that includes: 1-on-1 Training Work individually with members who want personalized coaching. Semi-Private Training Coach a small number of clients together while maintaining a high level of individual attention. Group Training Lead engaging workouts that build community and introduce more members to coaching. Recovery Help members move and feel better through trainer-assisted stretching and percussion recovery. The goal is not simply to fill scheduled appointments. The goal is to build relationships, create opportunities and grow a real coaching business inside the club. We want someone who sees unused time as opportunity. More conversations can lead to more clients. More clients can lead to more sessions. More sessions and programs can lead to higher earnings. There is room here for the right person to grow. Schedule Part-Time We are looking for someone who can establish a consistent weekly schedule and who wants Glendora to become an important part of their professional schedule — not simply a place to pick up an occasional shift. We care about certifications and experience, but we are equally interested in how you connect with people, how you work and what you would bring to our team. Anytime Fitness Glendora Training. Nutrition. Recovery.
