A Personal Trainer or Fitness Instructor develops customized exercise and fitness programs for clients. Reviews health and fitness goals, teaches correct and safe exercise technique, monitors progress and provides encouragement for clients. Leads fitness and exercise classes at a community center, club or pool. Teaches aerobics, water, strength building or other exercises and maintains equipment.

Job Description
Provides safe, effective, and personalized one-on-one and small-group training. Develops workout programs based on individual member goals and fitness levels. Builds and maintains strong relationships with members. Tracks client progress and adjusts programs as needed. Maintains a professional, energetic, and welcoming presence on the fitness floor. Helps develop and grow a personal training client base. Promotes personal training services and engages with members. Maintains a clean, safe, and professional training environment. Follows all Club and Troon policies and procedures. Participates in required staff meetings and training. Previous personal training experience preferred. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong knowledge of exercise programming and fitness principles. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Current nationally recognized personal training certification.
