Group Fitness Trainer / Instructor About BÜNDA BÜNDA is a science-backed group fitness concept that combines strength training and steady-state cardiovascular training in a structured, high-energy environment. Our program places a strong emphasis on frequently training the lower body, progressive strength training, and StairMaster-based cardio to create an effective, low-impact workout appropriate for a wide range of fitness levels. Every BÜNDA class is led by a qualified personal trainer, allowing us to provide members with the energy and community of group fitness while maintaining the education, attention, and coaching expected from personal training. The Role We are looking for energetic, knowledgeable, and highly coachable fitness professionals who want to develop their skills as trainers and group fitness coaches. As a BÜNDA Trainer, you'll lead members through our structured, pre-programmed workouts while creating an engaging, motivating, and personalized experience for every person in the room. This role is about much more than bringing energy to a class. Our trainers are expected to coach, educate, correct, motivate, and connect with members. Responsibilities Lead and motivate members through BÜNDA's pre-programmed strength and cardio workouts. Coach proper exercise technique, positioning, tempo, and execution. Provide appropriate progressions and regressions based on individual fitness levels. Educate members on the purpose and intent behind exercises and training methods. Coach members through progressive overload and appropriate weight selection. Provide clear, confident, and engaging instruction throughout class. Create an energetic and welcoming environment for beginners and experienced members alike. Develop positive relationships with members and actively engage with them before and after class. Learn members' goals and provide meaningful coaching and encouragement. Deliver exceptional customer service and respond professionally to member questions or concerns. Maintain BÜNDA's coaching, programming, safety, and brand standards. Arrive prepared and on time for all scheduled classes, meetings, and required training. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional studio environment. Work collaboratively with trainers, sales associates, and studio leadership to provide an exceptional member experience. Participate in continuing education and ongoing BÜNDA trainer development. Qualifications Personal Training Certification from an accredited organization such as NASM, ACE, NSCA, ISSA, or equivalent. Candidates currently pursuing an accredited Personal Training Certification may also be considered. Current CPR/AED certification or ability to obtain certification. Strong understanding of exercise technique and basic strength-training principles. Ability to confidently coach individuals with different fitness levels and abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable, punctual, professional, and accountable. High-energy personality with the ability to command and connect with a room. Passion for fitness, coaching, and helping people improve. Ability to receive feedback and continuously develop as a coach. Previous personal training or group fitness experience is preferred but not required . Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs. Availability for some early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. BÜNDA Trainer Education All trainers complete BÜNDA's required online and in-person training and onboarding process before being cleared to independently lead classes. Our training program is designed to develop your understanding of: BÜNDA programming and class structure Strength-training principles Progressive overload Steady-state cardiovascular training Exercise progressions and regressions Movement execution and coaching Group fitness instruction Member experience and retention BÜNDA coaching standards We want our trainers to become better coaches , not simply learn how to teach a class. You should be comfortable connecting with people, giving constructive coaching, commanding a group, and maintaining a high standard of professionalism. You don't need years of group fitness experience to succeed here.
