Job Description

Sweat 408 is a Bay Area rooted infrared Pilates and sculpt studio. Our classes are low-impact, music-driven, and built around strength, flow, and rhythm. We're looking for confident Group Fitness Instructors who love teaching, moving to music, and creating an inclusive, high-energy environment.

Position Details Status:

Hourly, non-exempt

Schedule:

Part-time (initially limited class availability, with opportunity to grow as the studio expands) Responsibilities Lead 45-50 minute infrared-heated, mat-based group fitness classes Arrive early to set up the studio and prepare the space before students arrive Plan and prepare thoroughly for each class, including choreography review and class sequencing Teach low-impact workouts using bodyweight and light props with high repetitions Cue clearly with strong musicality and alignment awareness Confidently hold space for up to 18-25 clients in a welcoming, motivating way Represent the Sweat 408 culture: kind, respectful, inclusive, and community-driven Qualifications 1+ year experience teaching group fitness (yoga , barre, or group fitness classes) Strong musicality and ability to count and move to the beat (preferred, but not a deal-breaker) Experience teaching in a heated environment is a plus Confident, energetic presence with clear verbal cueing Solid understanding of anatomy and safe movement principles Current Group Fitness Certification required (ACE, AFAA, NASM, or ACSM accepted) CPR/AED certification required (can be obtained after hire; studio support available) Perks Competitive hourly pay Free classes while employed Flexible scheduling Growth opportunities as Sweat 408 expands

$50.00 - $90.00 per hour
