The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for fitness, excellent teaching skills, and a comprehensive understanding of physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics. This role involves designing personalized training programs, leading engaging group classes, and motivating members to achieve their health and fitness goals in a supportive environment. The position offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on members' lives while working within a professional gym setting. Duties Develop and implement customized personal training programs tailored to individual client needs, goals, and fitness levels. Lead group fitness classes such as bootcamp, strength training, yoga, or specialty classes, ensuring safety and engagement. Educate clients on proper exercise techniques, body mechanics, and injury prevention based on anatomy knowledge. Conduct fitness assessments to evaluate progress and adjust programs accordingly. Promote health and wellness by providing motivational support and guidance throughout training sessions. Assist with gym operations including maintaining equipment, ensuring cleanliness, and creating a welcoming environment. Drive fitness sales by promoting memberships, personal training packages, and group class sign-ups through effective communication skills. Stay current with industry trends and certifications to enhance program offerings and professional development. Requirements Proven experience in personal training, group fitness instruction, or related roles within a health club or gym setting. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, sports coaching techniques, and body mechanics. Ability to design effective fitness programs for diverse populations with varying needs. Excellent teaching skills with the ability to motivate individuals and groups alike. Knowledge of fitness sales strategies to promote services effectively. Certification in personal training or group fitness instruction from a recognized organization is preferred. Exceptional communication skills with a professional attitude focused on client success. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends as needed.
