Reviews health and fitness goals, teaches correct and safe exercise technique, monitors progress and provides encouragement for clients. Leads fitness and exercise classes at a community center, club or pool. Teaches aerobics, water, strength building or other exercises and maintains equipment.

- Student Assistants Position Summary Temporary hourly-intermittent student assistant positions available in Campus Recreation.
Qualifications Preferred Qualifications :
Demonstrates certification through a recognized professional organization (ACE, AFAA, ACSM, NNSCA, or NASM). Demonstrate prior experience within the past twelve months of leading group fitness classes. Demonstrates knowledge and experience with a variety of Group Fitness classes. Demonstrates CPR and First Aid certification (preferred; will train if not). Demonstrates knowledge and experience with Personal Training Must meet all other eligibility requirements per the Student Employment Policies (see https://www.csustan.edu/hr/student- employment).
Required Qualifications :
Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units. Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units. Salary Range $16.90- $18.
