Job Summary IronFlex Fitness is a small, premium private training studio in Glastonbury, CT, and client demand has outgrown our team. New clients are booking assessments faster than our senior trainer can take them on, so we are adding an experienced Personal Trainer who can step in with clients already waiting. This is not an entry-level role and not a high-volume gym floor. We specialize in corrective exercise, post-rehab / injury-adaptive training, strength & conditioning, and sustainable weight loss for clients who value expert coaching and pay for a specialist. You will inherit assessed, motivated clients and focus on coaching, not cold-selling. Who We Are Looking For Minimum 1 year of paid personal training experience at another gym or studio (2+ years strongly preferred) Current nationally accredited certification (NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA, ISSA or equivalent) Specialty credentials or education strongly valued:
NASM-CES / PES, CSCS, FMS
/ FRC, Senior Fitness, Precision Nutrition, or a degree in Exercise Science / Kinesiology Hands-on experience with clients recovering from injury, managing movement limitations, or training in their 50s, 60s and beyond Confident assessing clients and building progressive, individualized programs from scratch Excellent coaching presence: clear cueing, strong technique, professionalism, and genuine care for long-term client results
CPR / AED
certified (or willing to obtain before your start date)
Compensation Session Pay:
$28 - $50 per session, based on experience and tier. Your starting tier reflects your experience and credentials, so veteran trainers are not starting at the bottom.
