CrossFit Westport is seeking a passionate and experienced CrossFit Coach to join our team. This individual will be responsible for leading group classes, providing personalized coaching, and fostering a supportive community environment. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable, energetic, and committed to helping members achieve their fitness goals.Responsibilities:
Lead and coach high-quality CrossFit group classes. Provide movement demonstrations, modifications, and scaling options. Engage with members to foster a welcoming and encouraging environment. Conduct personal training sessions as needed. Assist with onboarding new members and assessing fitness levels. Maintain a safe and clean training space. Stay updated with CrossFit methodologies and training techniques. Participate in community events and gym initiatives. Cleaning and maintaining the training spaces. Checking-in members to class Creating a memorable experience for members.Requirements:
CrossFit Level 1 Certification (minimum); Level 2 or higher preferred. Prior coaching experience in a CrossFit or functional fitness setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt coaching styles to different fitness levels and goals. CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain). Passion for fitness, health, and the CrossFit community.Compensation & Benefits:
