FIT4MOM DC
is looking for energetic individuals who are passionate about fitness and building a community of moms to join our team as group fitness instructors and run club coaches. This flexible role offers an opportunity to bring your kids to work (or not) and join a fun and welcoming team of instructors who love what they do while earning money. The time commitment is individualized, and can be anywhere from 1 to 10 hours a week with opportunities for that to grow over time. This paid position offers comprehensive training to equip you with the latest techniques in prenatal and postnatal exercise, ensuring you deliver safe, effective, and motivating classes. As a key member of our community, you will foster a positive environment that promotes wellness, confidence, and strength during one of life's most transformative phases. Duties Complete and maintain certifications necessary to teach formats; stay up-to-date on continuing education Lead engaging group fitness classes/group runs tailored specifically for prenatal and postnatal clients Educate participants on body mechanics, physiology, and safe exercise practices during pregnancy and postpartum periods Monitor participants' form and technique to ensure safety while motivating them to achieve their fitness goals Promote a welcoming environment that encourages community building and ongoing client engagement through fitness sales and program participation Experience 2+ years of recent experience leading groups in educational or experiential programs. 2+ years of customer, or constituent service experience (For Run Club coaching roles) Experience running races of 5K to at least 13.1 miles. Prior experience in group fitness instruction or personal training is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, body mechanics, and sports coaching techniques relevant to prenatal and postnatal populations ideal Strong teaching skills with the ability to motivate diverse groups while maintaining a focus on safety and proper technique Passion for health education and an interest in prenatal and postpartum health topics Embark on a rewarding journey helping women stay active safely during pregnancy and beyond! Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
