MUST HAVE OWN CLIENTS
About Barbell 13 Barbell 13 is a private, 24/7 gym, built on community, faith, and no-judgment hard work. We're not a corporate chain — we're independently owned, with 300+ members who know each other by name, an in-house chiropractor, and a culture that feels more like a second family than a franchise. If you're tired of quotas, scripts, and corporate sales pressure, this is a different kind of gym to build your business in. Our owners were trainers to now gym owners and have a passion for taking the best trainers and showing them the life changing benefits of entreprenuership. The Independent Trainer Model This is an independent contractor position, not a W2 job. You are not our employee — you're a fitness professional running your own personal training business, and we provide the space, community, and infrastructure to help you do it. Here's how it works: You rent space/access at Barbell 13 to train your own clients, on your own schedule You set your own rates and keep what you earn — there's no revenue split or commission structure controlled by us You bring your own client base and/or build one through our member community and referrals In exchange, you get a clean, fully-equipped, welcoming facility with a built-in community of members, fellow successful trainers and mentorship by the owners This model works best for trainers who want the freedom of running their own business without the overhead of leasing and building out a studio from scratch. Our top trainer hit $10k/month. Who We're Looking For We care more about who you are than just what's on your resume. We're looking for trainers with: Good character — honest, reliable, and someone our members would trust and enjoy being around Real experience — a track record of training clients safely and effectively, with the credentials to back it up Strong work ethic — someone who shows up prepared, follows through with clients, and treats this like the business it is A coaching style that fits our culture: encouraging, no-judgment, and community-minded Requirements Proof of a current or past personal training certification (NASM, ACE, ISSA, or equivalent) Proof of liability insurance (or willingness to obtain) Reliable availability for client sessions Comfortable working independently while being a positive presence in a shared gym space How to Apply Send us your certifications, experience, and a bit about yourself. We'd love to hear why Barbell 13 feels like the right fit for you. 4074120022
