Schedule:
Saturdays | 9:00 AM - 10:00
AM Pay Rate:
$45 per class
Position Overview:
Play Academy is looking for an experienced and energetic Yoga Instructor to lead Saturday morning yoga classes for residents at The Preserve at Ironhorse. This class should provide a welcoming, safe, and engaging environment for participants of varying fitness levels. We are looking for an instructor who is reliable, professional, and passionate about creating a positive wellness experience for the community.
Responsibilities:
Lead a 60-minute yoga class every Saturday morning from 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM. Create a welcoming and inclusive class environment for all fitness levels. Provide clear instruction, modifications, and encouragement throughout class. Arrive on time and prepared for each scheduled class. Maintain professionalism when interacting with residents and community staff. Communicate any scheduling needs or concerns in advance.
Additional Opportunity:
We will also be adding additional days to the class schedule, creating the potential for more teaching opportunities at this location.
Compensation:
$45 per class 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training certification required. RYT-200 certification or Yoga Alliance registration preferred. Previous yoga instruction experience required. CPR/AED certification preferred. Must be dependable, professional, and comfortable leading group classes. Strong communication and customer service skills.
