Company Description Textron Aviation Employees Club is a membership-based organization located in Wichita, Kansas, supporting employees and their families with recreational, wellness, and community-focused programs. The Club operates facilities and activities that promote health, fitness, and social engagement. As part of a larger aviation-centered community, it offers opportunities for members to connect outside of work through organized events and classes. The organization values a welcoming environment where individuals of all fitness levels can participate and grow. Role Description The Fitness Class Instructor is a Part-time, on-site role based at the Textron Aviation Employees Club in Wichita, KS. We are looking for someone to teach any of the following classes; Yoga, Pilates, Strong or Zumba. This role is responsible for planning, leading, and safely instructing group exercise classes for members with varying fitness levels. Day-to-day tasks include designing class formats, demonstrating proper techniques, providing modifications, and monitoring participant safety throughout each session. The instructor engages with members before and after classes, answers questions, and offers basic fitness guidance to support their wellness goals. Additional responsibilities may include maintaining a clean and organized workout environment and coordinating schedules with club staff Qualifications Ability to deliver effective Group Exercise sessions and Fitness Instruction tailored to diverse fitness levels. Experience in Personal Training and knowledge of the Fitness Industry to support member wellness goals. Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, motivate participants, and foster an inclusive class environment. Relevant fitness certifications (e.g., group exercise, personal training) from recognized organizations. Knowledge of basic exercise science, injury prevention, and safe training practices. Ability to stand, demonstrate movements, and lift equipment as required for classes. Effective time management and reliability for maintaining consistent class schedules. At least one year experience teaching fitness classes in a gym, club, or community setting is required. We are looking for someone to teach a couple of days during lunch time and a couple of days in the evening. We are willing to work with you on exact times and days. Mon-Fri only.
