Job Description
Provide New Brighton Community Center visitors with health and wellness education including but not limited to personal training services fitness orientations and body compositions. Plans and provides personal training services as one component of a total fitness program. Each personal training program is tailored for the individual and adapted to specific needs or limitations. Instruct group fitness classes including aerobic and team trainings. Plans and provides fitness orientations as one component of a total fitness program. Provides body composition profiles as requested as part of the overall fitness program. Observes and confers with members and users in the fitness area. Markets the total fitness program and actively recruits for new members and users. Meets regularly with the Recreation Supervisor so both can keep current on utilization patterns and fees generated by the total fitness program. Performs other program-related responsibilities as directed by the Recreation Supervisor. Degree in a related field. Certification in Health and Wellness programming and at least two years experience planning, presenting, and evaluating personal training services.
