  • Position:
  • Fitness Instructor and Tai Chi & Kung Fu Martial Arts Instructor (Group Fitness Instructor)
  • Who We're Looking For:
  • A passionate, certified instructor ready to make a difference in the lives of diverse clients, particularly seniors and adults seeking improved mobility, strength, and wellness. You thrive in a community setting, bring positive energy, and are eager to lead group classes that inspire and empower.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Lead Fitness instructor, and/or related martial arts group classes at various client locations (primarily serving seniors and adults)
  • Design and adapt fitness programs to accommodate all skill and mobility levels, including those with chronic health conditions
  • Ensure client safety and demonstrate proper technique at all times
  • Foster an inclusive, motivating, and fun environment for all participants
  • Set up and break down provided equipment as needed
  • Maintain attendance records and communicate feedback to management
  • Promote Strive 2 Fitness programs and encourage ongoing participation
  • Be punctual, reliable, and maintain a positive, energetic attitude
  • Qualifications:
  • Certification in Fitness Instructor, Kung Fu, or a related martial art (required)
  • Group fitness instructor certification preferred (ACE, NASM, AFAA, etc.)
  • Experience teaching seniors or special populations is a strong plus
  • CPR/AED certified (or willingness to obtain)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable transportation (mobile classes at various locations)
  • Outgoing, energetic, and passionate about wellness and community service
  • Benefits:
  • Competitive pay: $25
  • 50 per class/session (based on experience and qualifications)
