Overview Grind Central Fitness is a community-focused fitness organization based at 9150 Pigeon Roost Rd in Olive Branch, Mississippi. The company offers a range of group fitness programs designed to help members improve strength, endurance, and overall well-being. The facility serves as a local hub for health and fitness within the Olive Branch community. Responsibilities The Group Fitness Coach is a part time, on-site role at Grind Central Fitness in Olive Branch, MS. This role involves leading group exercise sessions for diverse fitness levels, ensuring safe and effective workouts. The coach will demonstrate proper technique, provide real-time feedback, and motivate participants throughout each class. Day-to-day tasks include coaching classes, monitoring member progress, offering basic guidance on healthy habits, and maintaining a clean and organized training environment. The coach will collaborate with other team members, support member retention efforts, and participate in occasional events or promotions to help grow the member community. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Group Exercise and Fitness Instruction to effectively lead and manage group classes. Candidates should possess skills in Fitness Training and Fitness Industry knowledge to design safe, effective workouts and understand current best practices. Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of Nutrition to provide general guidance that supports members' fitness goals. Certification in group fitness, personal training, or related field (e.g., ACE, NASM, ACSM) is preferred. Strong communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills, with the ability to support participants of varied backgrounds and fitness levels. Ability to demonstrate exercises safely, maintain a professional and inclusive environment, and work flexible hours including evenings or weekends as needed. Previous experience coaching or instructing in a fitness or wellness setting is highly beneficial.
Pay:
