Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic fitness team as a Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor, where your passion for health and wellness will inspire others to achieve their best. In this energetic role, you will deliver engaging individual training sessions and lead motivating group fitness classes that cater to diverse fitness levels. Your expertise will help clients improve their strength, flexibility, endurance, and overall well-being while fostering a positive and inclusive environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on members' lives through expert coaching, innovative program design, and exceptional customer service. Duties Conduct personalized fitness assessments to understand clients' goals, health status, and physical capabilities Design customized training programs incorporating principles of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and body mechanics Lead a variety of group fitness classes such as Strength and Conditioning , Personal Training and high-intensity interval training (HIIT) sessions Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and ensure safe execution through hands-on practice and clear instruction Motivate clients during workouts using coaching techniques that boost confidence and maintain high energy levels Ensure safety by adhering to manual handling procedures, first aid protocols, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, and emergency response procedures Promote membership sales by providing excellent fitness customer service and engaging communication to encourage ongoing participation Skills Extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and body mechanics to tailor effective training programs Proven experience in personal training with certifications in CPR/AED and First Aid Strong background in group fitness instruction across multiple disciplines including HIIT, Personal Training and Strength training Ability to demonstrate exercises clearly while ensuring proper form and safety standards are maintained Exceptional client communication skills with the ability to motivate diverse populations of all ages and fitness levels Familiarity with fitness industry best practices for program design, coaching techniques, heavy lifting safety procedures, and manual handling Experience working in health clubs or gyms with a focus on delivering engaging exercise routines that meet individual needs Embrace this opportunity to empower others through expert coaching and innovative fitness programming. Pay:
