Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Classical and Reformer Pilates Instructor to join our vibrant fitness community. (Must be available Sundays) In this role, you will lead engaging Pilates classes focusing on classical techniques and reformer equipment, inspiring clients to achieve their fitness goals through precise movement, mindful breathing, and personalized coaching. Your expertise will help clients improve flexibility, strength, posture, and overall well-being while fostering a motivating and supportive environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to share your love for Pilates and contribute to our clients' health journeys. Duties Deliver high-quality classical Pilates and reformer classes tailored to various skill levels, ensuring proper technique and safety. Demonstrate exercises clearly, guiding clients through routines with precise movements and modifications as needed. Design innovative Pilates programs that align with clients' goals, fitness levels, and physical conditions. Provide personalized coaching and motivation to enhance client engagement and progress. Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, sanitized, and set up for each session in accordance with health standards. Educate clients on body mechanics, biomechanics, anatomy, physiology, and safe exercise practices to maximize benefits. Maintain excellent client communication, offering feedback and support to foster a positive fitness experience. Qualifications Proven experience in teaching Pilates instruction, including classical techniques and reformer apparatus. Strong knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, physiology, and body mechanics relevant to Pilates movements. Certifications in Pilates instruction; additional qualifications in yoga, dance, sports coaching or group fitness are advantageous. Familiarity with fitness industry standards including CPR/AED certification and first aid training. Experience in group fitness classes or personal training environments with excellent client service skills. Ability to demonstrate exercises effectively while providing clear instructions for practice and progression. Physical fitness training background with the capacity for heavy lifting when necessary; comfort with cycling or other cardio modalities is a plus. Pay:
$60.00 - $80.00 per hour
