Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Balance and Yoga Instructor dedicated to enriching the lives of our older community members. Responsibilities Design and deliver dynamic group fitness classes centered on balance, yoga, Pilates, and functional movement tailored specifically for older adults Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and guide participants through routines to ensure safety and effectiveness Adapt exercises to accommodate varying mobility levels and health conditions within the community Provide motivational coaching to encourage consistent participation and personal progress Monitor participants' physical responses during classes, offering modifications as needed to prevent injury Maintain a safe environment by practicing manual handling techniques and adhering to health and safety protocols including CPR and AED operation readiness Communicate effectively with clients about their goals, progress, and any health concerns to foster trust and engagement Skills Proven experience in group fitness instruction, personal training, or coaching within the fitness industry Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, body mechanics, and health club safety standards Certification in yoga instruction, Pilates instruction, or similar disciplines; additional certifications in cycling, CrossFit, or dance are advantageous Familiarity with health-related first aid procedures including CPR and AED operation Ability to demonstrate exercises clearly while providing practice opportunities for participants Excellent client communication skills with a friendly, motivating approach Knowledge of fitness sales techniques and customer service best practices for engaging older adults Physical fitness training experience with heavy lifting, manual handling, and body mechanics awareness necessary for safe class delivery This role is ideal for someone passionate about promoting healthy aging through innovative movement practices. Pay:
