Job Overview:
As a Reformer Instructor, you will lead dynamic group reformer classes designed to challenge members while creating an inclusive and encouraging environment for all fitness levels. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of reformer-based movement, proper form and alignment, and class programming. Responsibilities:
Lead safe, engaging, and effective group Reformer classes. Create well-structured classes that incorporate strength, stability, mobility, flexibility, and controlled movement. Clearly demonstrate and explain exercises, transitions, equipment setup, and proper technique. Provide modifications and progressions for different fitness levels and abilities. Monitor members throughout class and provide appropriate form corrections and coaching. Maintain an energetic, welcoming, and professional class environment. Ensure Reformers and surrounding equipment are properly set up before class and returned to their appropriate condition afterward. Stay current on Reformer training techniques, fitness trends, and continuing education.
Qualifications:
Reformer Pilates or Reformer-based fitness certification from a recognized training program Relevant experience of 1+ years Required CPR/AED certification required or willingness to obtain Has great marketing skills with a possible class following Exceptional organizational skills Enjoys work that requires frequent shift indirection and is dependable People oriented - enjoys interacting with people What We're Looking For If you're passionate about movement, enjoy motivating others, and want to be part of a growing fitness community, we'd love to meet you.
