This is a dynamic, client-facing role that combines expert bodywork with consultative sales and client retention. As a Flexologist, you do not just deliver world-class 1-on-1 assisted stretches; you are an active partner in growing the studio's client base. You will conduct initial movement assessments, educate guests on their physical limitations, build custom stretch plans, and actively pitch and convert first-time guests into monthly recurring members alongside our sales team. Key Responsibilities Client Care & Technical Delivery (60%) 1-on-1
Assisted Stretching:
Deliver customized 25-minute and 50-minute stretch sessions using StretchLab's proprietary PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation) and dynamic stretching techniques.
Movement Evaluations:
Perform detailed initial intakes, assess range of motion, evaluate posture/flexibility limitations, and design individual recovery protocols.
Safety & Standards:
Maintain client safety by strictly adhering to accredited body mechanics, proper hand placement, and studio safety guidelines. Consultative Sales & Membership Conversion (25%)
Post-Stretch Recommendations:
Educate guests on why one-off sessions are insufficient for long-term mobility, clearly presenting custom routine recommendations at the end of every introductory stretch.
Membership Closing:
Partner with the front-desk Sales Associates to present monthly membership options, overcome client hesitation, and close recurring membership subscriptions .
Client Retention & Re-booking:
Actively manage and re-book your personal client roster to maintain high session utilization and minimize membership churn. Studio Operations & Culture (15%)
Studio Upkeep:
Maintain a spotless, premium environment by sanitizing benches between sessions and executing daily studio maintenance, including the ongoing laundry cycle (wash/dry/fold).
Community Engagement:
Assist with studio tours, participate in local community pop-ups, and support grassroots marketing activations to generate prospective client leads. Qualifications & Experience Required Certification / Credential (Must hold at least ONE): Certified Personal Trainer (CPT):
NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA, ISSA
(with strong background in flexibility/corrective exercise). Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) . Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) . Degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Physical Therapy / PTA, or related field . Certified Pilates or Yoga Instructor with extensive anatomy knowledge. Professional Dance Instructor / Background .

Sales Aptitude:
Comfortable discussing wellness goals, making routine recommendations, and actively driving membership conversions.
Anatomy Expertise:
Deep understanding of muscle origin/insertion, joint mechanics, and corrective bodywork.
Schedule & Availability:
Must be available at least 25 hours per week , including at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) consistently.
Accreditation Readiness:
Ability to successfully complete our nationally accredited Flexologist Training Program (FTP) , which includes 20 hours of online coursework and 2 days of intensive hands-on practical training.
Reliable base hourly pay for all working hours, supplemented by dynamic session-based pay, giving productive Flexologists an effective rate of $20.00 - $30.00+ per hour .
