Develop personalized training programs tailored to each member's fitness level, goals, and health considerations Conduct one-on-one and group training sessions, ensuring proper technique and safety Motivate and encourage members to stay committed to their fitness routines Monitor and track client progress, adjusting programs as needed Educate members on proper exercise form, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle habits Maintain a clean and organized training environment Stay current with industry trends and certifications to provide the best service possible At the YMCA, we foster a culture of inclusivity, growth, and community support. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Must stay current in CPR/AED/O2 and First Aid, renewed annually. (Training provided by the Y, if needed) Must complete all required Redwoods Trainings within 30 days of hire and renewed annually. Must be at least 18 years of age. High School education or equivalent preferred. Must be an approved national Personal Trainer Instructor. Required to lift excessive weight (minimum of 50 pounds). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and inspire clients of diverse backgrounds and fitness levels.Benefits
