Job Description
Personal Trainer / Fitness Coach at Faster Fitness Faster Fitness is a growing semi-private personal training company committed to delivering exceptional coaching, individualized programming, and a high-level member experience. We are currently seeking an experienced, energetic, and relationship-driven Personal Trainer/Fitness Coach who can step into our team and make an immediate impact. This is an in-person coaching position within our semi-private training model. The ideal candidate has previous coaching experience, a confident presence on the training floor, and the ability to motivate and connect with clients of different ages, personalities, and fitness levels. At Faster Fitness, we hold a high standard for coaching, service, professionalism, culture, and the overall member experience. We are looking for someone who can contribute to that standard from day one while continuing to develop within our system. Key Responsibilities Coach clients in a semi-private training environment, typically consisting of 6-14 clients and 2-3 coaches per session Deliver individualized workout programs based on each client's goals, fitness level, movement abilities, and limitations Confidently lead and manage the flow, organization, and energy of training sessions Provide clear instruction, demonstrations, and feedback on exercise technique and movement quality Appropriately modify, progress, and regress exercises based on each client's needs Motivate clients while maintaining a positive, professional, and supportive coaching environment Lead engaging, high-energy cardio and group fitness sessions Monitor client performance and communicate progress with members and the coaching team Build strong relationships with members and consistently deliver a high level of service Bring energy, urgency, preparation, and engagement to every shift Help maintain a clean, organized, professional, and high-end training environment Collaborate with the coaching team to provide a consistent experience across every session Qualifications Previous experience as a personal trainer, strength coach, group fitness instructor, or similar fitness professional Strong knowledge of strength training, exercise technique, and basic program design Ability to confidently coach and manage multiple clients at the same time Experience modifying and progressing exercises for different fitness levels and physical limitations Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills Outgoing, personable, and comfortable connecting with a wide range of personalities Professional, dependable, organized, and consistent Receptive to feedback and willing to grow within an established coaching system Passionate about fitness, personal development, and helping others achieve meaningful results CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain certification Nationally recognized personal training certification or relevant degree is preferred Preferred Experience Two or more years of personal training, strength coaching, or group fitness experience Experience coaching multiple clients in a semi-private or small-group setting Background in strength and conditioning, athletics, HIIT, or performance training Experience working with adult clients across different ages and ability levels Proven ability to build relationships, retain clients, and contribute to a positive training culture Former athletes and candidates with a strong personal training background are encouraged to apply What We Are Looking For We are not simply looking for someone who knows exercises.
