ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Leading and motivating members through pre-defined workouts Helping members set and achieve goals (fitness & nutrition) Correcting members' form and offering movement alternatives Understand the science behind our workouts (GPP training / Conjugate method) Be a team player in all aspects of the business (coaching / cleaning / etc.) Availability to coach a minimum of classes 15 /week (weekends) Willingness to immerse yourself in our gym culture Take a minimum of 3 classes per week themselves
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Hold and maintain a current fitness certification from an education company approved by
KOR4 ELITE FITNESS
Fitness:
ACE, NASM, AFAA, NSCA, ACSM
; current AED/CPR certificate; 10+ hours per year in continuing education units outside of KOR4 curriculum Knowledge +
Experience:
Intimate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics; functional understanding of heart rate-based training; 2 years of experience as a group or individual personal trainer preferred.
Soft Skills:
Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills; ability to multi-task; excellent customer service skills; team player mindset
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 95 pounds. Fitness Coaches are leaders of the
KOR4 ELITE FITNESS
workouts, this requires them to be on their feet leading and instructing members for the entirety of the workout. In the weight room, coaches must demonstrate all exercises for members, which can involve Barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, bands, rowing, running, biking, bodyweight exercises and more!
