About The Place. A Movement Studio. The Place is a community-focused Pilates and yoga studio located at Stone Bank Farm Market in Hartland, Wisconsin. Our classes are energetic, music-driven and thoughtfully programmed, with an emphasis on excellent instruction, strong community and an elevated client experience. We're looking for an experienced, high-energy Pilates instructor who can confidently lead a full room, connect with clients and teach intentionally to the beat of the music. Our instructors each bring their own personality and teaching style, but share a commitment to making every client feel welcomed, challenged and supported. Responsibilities Lead engaging, athletic 50-minute mat Pilates and Pilates Sculpt classes Program intentional, well-balanced sequences that flow naturally with the music Teach consistently to the beat and use musicality to guide movement, pacing and transitions Demonstrate exercises clearly and provide strong verbal cues, including breath, form and alignment Offer thoughtful progressions and modifications for different experience levels, injuries and physical needs Bring confident, positive and high-energy leadership to every class Learn clients' names and contribute to the welcoming, community-driven atmosphere of The Place Begin and end classes on time while maintaining a smooth, well-paced experience Arrive prepared and assist in keeping the studio and equipment clean, organized and ready for clients, assisted by front desk support Communicate professionally with clients, fellow instructors and studio management Participate in team meetings, studio-specific training and continuing education Teach a consistent minimum of two recurring classes per week and help with substitute coverage when available Required Qualifications Current mat Pilates instructor certification At least two years of professional experience teaching Pilates in a studio setting Experience confidently leading group classes Strong musicality and the ability to teach movement to the beat of the music High-energy, engaging and motivating teaching presence Strong understanding of Pilates principles, anatomy, alignment and safe movement mechanics Ability to provide clear cues, demonstrations, modifications and progressions Reliable, punctual and prepared for every scheduled class Willingness to commit to at least two recurring classes per week Current CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain it before beginning employment Experience teaching Pilates Sculpt, strength-based formats or other complementary movement disciplines is a plus. Availability We are hiring for early mornings, weekday daytime, evenings and weekends. Applicants with availability across multiple time slots are especially encouraged to apply.
