Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Per Diem A per diem Pharmacist opportunity is available in Alabaster, AL, providing coverage in the Soleo Hoover location from Wednesday, September 2nd through Friday, September 4th. The shifts run from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This position involves checking and verifying medications with a focus on infusion preparation accuracy.
Responsibilities include:
Accurately checking and verifying intravenous (IV) medications and total parenteral nutrition (TPN) orders Ensuring compliance with pharmacy protocols and patient safety standards Utilizing the CareTend system efficiently for medication management and documentation
Qualifications:
Current Alabama pharmacist license in good standing Prior experience in infusion pharmacy preferred; however, inpatient pharmacists with solid experience in verifying IV and TPN orders are encouraged to apply Strong attention to detail and knowledge of infusion protocols Proficiency with CareTend or similar pharmacy systems is advantageous This per diem role is ideal for pharmacists seeking flexible, short-term assignments to build experience or supplement their schedule.
