Category Pharmacy-Pharmacist in Charge Job Type Contract To Hire An opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to oversee pharmacy operations in a specialty retail setting focused on dermatology patients. This role is a contract-to-hire position, providing an excellent pathway to a permanent role if the fit is right.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of two pharmacy technicians. Ensure pharmacy operations comply with all regulatory and safety standards. Oversee dispensing, including nonsterile compounding of creams and gels. Collaborate with dermatology providers to ensure seamless patient care. Maintain accurate records and pharmacy inventory. Utilize New Leaf pharmacy system (experience not required; training can be provided).

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

1-2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Manager or Pharmacist in Charge. Dermatology pharmacy experience is advantageous but not mandatory. Knowledge of nonsterile compounding, especially creams and gels, is a plus. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to thrive in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. This position begins in 1-2 weeks and runs for approximately 13 weeks, with the potential to transition to a permanent role based on performance and mutual agreement.
