Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Per Diem This per diem pharmacist role offers an opportunity to support a dynamic pharmacy team in daily operations. You will be part of a ready team that steps in to cover call outs, vacations, and volume spikes in various retail pharmacy locations. The ideal candidate works part time, approximately 2-4 days per week, with flexibility to assist as needed.
Location:
Mesa, AZ Schedule:
Pharmacy hours are Monday through Saturday, typically 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with some locations open until 8:00 PM Hours are not guaranteed; scheduling is based on coverage needs
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive pharmacy services in retail settings averaging 100-125 prescriptions per day Collaborate with pharmacy technicians or independently manage pharmacist-only sites Participate in training sessions to become proficient in site-specific systems and workflow Ensure compliance with immunization protocols and maintain current BLS certification Utilize QS1 pharmacy software effectively
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Minimum of 1-2 years experience working in a retail pharmacy environment Valid immunization privilege and current BLS card Comfortable working in both team-supported pharmacies and pharmacist-only locations Strong communication skills and adaptability to cover varying shifts
Training:
