Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A 13-week contract opportunity is available for a full-time night pharmacist at a 200-bed hospital in Tucson, AZ. This role involves working a 7-on, 7-off night shift schedule, Wednesday through Tuesday.
Responsibilities include:
Collaborating with physicians regarding drug selection and dosing Educating nursing staff, patients, and physicians about medications Leading medication safety initiatives Reviewing and managing patient medication profiles Monitoring and reporting adverse drug reactions Preparing IV admixtures and nutritional supplements Ensuring narcotic accountability
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Licensed pharmacist with experience in hospital settings Strong knowledge of medication management and safety protocols Ability to work independently during night shifts Proficient in IV admixture preparation and narcotic handling Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Location:
Tucson, AZ Schedule:
Full-time, night shifts 7 nights on, 7 nights off (Wednesday to Tuesday) This position may offer the option to transition to a temporary-to-hire arrangement.
