We are dedicated to providing excellent clinical service to our patients, physicians, and managed care customers. Our comprehensive infusion therapy services include the provision of nutritional, antibiotics, and specialty drugs administered intravenously in the home setting or in our outpatient ambulatory infusion suites. Our clinical team of nurses and pharmacists work closely with physicians to develop personalized plan of care and ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Lively atmosphere Safe work environment On-the-job training As a member of the Sisu Pharmacy team, you will focus on the sterile compounding of home infusion therapies, with a primary emphasis on Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN). Responsibilities span the preparation, labeling, and dispensing of complex compounded sterile preparations, along with inventory management and quality assurance activities supporting our home infusion operation. Schedule:
This is a fixed Wednesday through Sunday position, 8-hour shifts.
Shift Premium:
Additional hourly differential applied to this fixed Wednesday-Sunday schedule (details discussed at offer).
Retention Bonus:
$1,000 paid at the six-month employment milestone. Coordinates, schedules, and prepares sterile admixtures with the guidance of the Pharmacist, with a primary focus on Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) compounding for home infusion patients. Completes all calculations on product preparation and obtains validation from the Pharmacist before compounding/mixing. Compounds sterile admixtures and non-admixtures using aseptic technique where state laws permit, with a primary focus on Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN), and including antibiotics, hydration therapies, chemotherapy, and other specialty home infusion preparations. Prepares labels, prescriptions and compounding/mixing worksheets and completes and maintains product lot numbers, expiration dates and batch records. Generates delivery/pick slips under the supervision of the Pharmacist. Picks and pulls supplies and home medical equipment. Ensures compounding/clean room areas and related equipment are cleaned, sanitized and maintained in compliance with company policies and procedures and USP 797 and USP 800 standards. Documents all activities. Obtains supply inventories from patients/clients and communicates information obtained to the Pharmacist as required. Participates in department and quality performance improvement process. Adheres to all accreditation, Board of Pharmacy, DEA, FDA, state, local and federal regulations and standards relevant to infusion pharmacy.
Qualifications:
Must possess a valid PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board) license and an Arizona State License. At least two years of aseptic preparation of infusion-related pharmaceuticals in a home infusion or hospital setting, with hands-on TPN compounding experience strongly preferred. General knowledge of drug terminology, pharmaceutical calculations, drug use and aseptic techniques Effective mathematical and communication skills required Basic pharmacy knowledge of reading and interpreting prescriptions Ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently Valid driver's license

$24.00 - $44.73 per hour
