Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for a clinical pharmacist specializing in inpatient care within a well-established county health system. Candidates with a PGY1 residency or approximately two years of recent inpatient pharmacy experience are highly preferred. This role supports essential pharmacy operations on a contract basis, with strong potential for transition to permanent employment.

Anaheim, CA Schedule:

8-hour shifts Flexibility to work all shifts, primarily 1st and 2nd shifts, with occasional 3rd shifts as needed

Key Responsibilities:

Providing clinical pharmacy services in an inpatient hospital setting Collaborating with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy Ensuring compliance with institutional and regulatory policies Participating in patient safety and medication review initiatives Maintaining accurate documentation and medication records

Qualifications:

Licensed pharmacist with current licensure and credentials PGY1 residency preferred; candidates with equivalent inpatient experience considered Experience in a hospital or health system pharmacy environment Strong clinical knowledge and ability to perform in a fast-paced setting Ability to pass a competency exam as part of onboarding requirements Successful completion of a Livescan background check
