Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract To Hire Orange, CA | $75-$78/hr | 13-Week Temp-to-Perm Soliant Health is seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist for an outpatient medication management opportunity with a growing home infusion pharmacy in Orange, CA. This is a highly clinical position focused on TPN patient management, clinical monitoring, patient counseling, and collaboration with dietitians and providers. This is not a production-focused role and offers strong potential for a long-term permanent opportunity.

Pay:
$75-$78/hr

Home Infusion Permanent Opportunity:
Potential for increased compensation upon conversion
Licensure:
Active, unrestricted California Pharmacist license required
Additional Licensure:
Mississippi and Alabama licenses preferred, or willingness to obtain immediately Responsibilities Clinically manage and monitor patients receiving TPN therapy Review TPN formulations, laboratory results, and therapy progress Make appropriate clinical recommendations for patients transitioning home from the hospital Collaborate closely with dietitians, physicians, providers, and pharmacy staff Provide patient counseling and education regarding medications and infusion therapy Oversee sterile compounding functions as needed Ensure sterile preparations and pharmacy practices meet USP standards Serve as a clinical resource and demonstrate leadership within the pharmacy Requirements 2+ years of recent, strong clinical pharmacy and sterile compounding experience Strong experience clinically managing TPN patients Experience collaborating with dietitians and other healthcare providers Excellent patient counseling and communication skills Strong knowledge of USP and sterile pharmacy practices Home infusion experience strongly preferred Active and unrestricted CA Pharmacist license MS and AL Pharmacist licenses preferred or ability to obtain immediately Ideal Candidate This position requires someone who is both clinically strong and highly effective with people. The ideal candidate will have strong emotional intelligence, sound clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to confidently interact with patients, physicians, dietitians, and pharmacy staff. Candidates should be comfortable discussing their experience clinically managing TPN therapy, not simply compounding TPN.
