Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract Seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacy Technician to provide essential support in a dynamic hospital setting. Responsibilities:

Perform IV compounding with precision and adherence to safety standards. Manage medication distribution efficiently using Pyxis automation systems. Conduct accurate filling and restocking of medication supplies. Support the pharmacy team in order entry utilizing Paragon/Allscripts systems. Collaborate with rotating shifts to ensure seamless patient care coverage.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Valid California Pharmacy Technician license required. Proficiency in IV compounding techniques. Experience with Pyxis medication automation systems. Familiarity with hospital order entry software (Paragon/Allscripts). Ability to work flexible shifts including weekdays and weekends.

Location:

Anaheim, CA, serving a licensed bed capacity of 117 with an average daily census of 44.

Schedule:

Full-time initial commitment: 40 hours/week for approximately 4 weeks.

Shift rotations include:

07:30 AM to 04:00 PM 12:00 PM to 08:30 PM Weekend shifts: 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM Following the initial period, role transitions to PRN coverage as needed. This is a contract position ideal for a local technician ready to contribute immediately and maintain a flexible schedule thereafter.
