Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Contract An interim Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) or Director of Pharmacy (DOP) is needed to lead pharmacy operations at a 25-bed critical access hospital in rural Northern California. This contract role is ideal for a licensed California pharmacist with hospital experience who can efficiently manage both clinical and administrative responsibilities in a small, close-knit healthcare setting. This opportunity offers a balanced schedule of four 10-hour day shifts per week, providing a focused workweek that supports work-life balance. The contract is expected to last approximately 13 weeks, with a flexible start date to accommodate your availability. Responsibilities include verifying medication orders, supervising pharmacy technicians, and collaborating closely with physicians and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care. You will also apply pharmacokinetics principles and oversee general pharmacy staffing and workflow, with about 90% of your time dedicated to staffing and the remaining 10% on administrative duties.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:
