Job Description

Job Overview:
APTIM is seeking experienced field personnel to support residential soil remediation, including excavation, material handling, hauling, backfilling, grading, and final site restoration for the Sulphur Bank Mercury Mine project in Clearlake Oaks, California. Openings may include construction laborers, licensed heavy-equipment operators, and licensed CDL truck drivers, and candidates must be able to work safely outdoors around contaminated soil and heavy equipment while following the site-specific health and safety plan. Field work is anticipated in two phases, from in Fall 2026 and again from Spring 2027 and will generally be performed on a standard construction schedule, with overtime as required to meet project milestones and seasonal work windows, subject to weather, and other project requirements. Employees must be available for the project duration and report reliably to the Clearlake Oaks worksite. The project offers training, an opportunity to support a high-profile environmental remediation effort while earning competitive prevailing wages, and benefits in accordance with federal labor standards.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Use of Dump trucks (12-15 yd) and Water Trucks (2k) Operate trucks in safe manner in residential communities Will before labor tasks Ability to work in team environment in safe and productive manner Be safe and professional while working in residential communities
Basic Qualifications:
Civil Construction and/or environmental work experience Must live within daily commute of Jackson, CA No Felonies Clean driving record with valid license Dependable transportation and cell phone Able to pass drug screen and physical

Work Schedule:
5 days/week with 10 hrs/day
