Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract To Hire This position offers a compelling opportunity for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist with a strong background in TPN management and sterile compounding. The role focuses on clinical responsibilities, including managing TPN patients, counseling, and coordinating care alongside dietitians, physicians, and pharmacy staff. This is a contract-to-hire role based in Orange, CA, with a 13-week initial term.

Schedule and Hours:

Full Time, Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

Clinically manage and monitor patients receiving TPN therapy Collaborate closely with dietitians, physicians, and pharmacy staff to coordinate patient care plans Review TPN formulations, laboratory results, and therapy progress, providing clinical recommendations for discharged patients Provide thorough patient counseling and education regarding medications and infusion therapy Oversee sterile compounding activities as needed, ensuring compliance with USP standards Communicate effectively with both clinical and non-clinical team members Serve as a clinical resource and demonstrate leadership within the pharmacy

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Minimum 2+ years of recent, robust sterile compounding and clinical pharmacy experience Proven experience managing TPN therapy clinically Collaborative experience working with dietitians and other healthcare providers Strong patient counseling and clinical communication skills Active and unrestricted CA Pharmacist license Either currently licensed or willing to promptly obtain licenses in Mississippi (MS) and Alabama (AL) In-depth knowledge of USP sterile pharmacy standards Home Infusion experience is a strong plus Demonstrated leadership, emotional intelligence, and excellent interpersonal skills Professionalism, maturity, and sound clinical judgment with strong initiative Adaptability in a fast-growing pharmacy environment Candidates who combine clinical expertise with strong people skills and leadership potential will thrive in this role.
