Job Description

Category Pharmacy-Pharmacist in Charge Job Type Contract An interim Pharmacist In Charge position is available for an immediate start on a 12-13 week contract. The role requires full oversight and management of a retail pharmacy in Oroville, CA, with shifts aligned to the pharmacy's operating hours.
Schedule:
Monday to
Friday:
9:00 AM - 8:00
PM Saturday and Sunday:
9:00 AM - 5:30
PM Key Responsibilities:
Oversee full-cycle prescription processing and dispensing. Communicate effectively with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients. Manage and supervise pharmacy technicians. Open and close the pharmacy according to protocols. Complete all required Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) paperwork and compliance tasks.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of recent retail pharmacy experience. Prior experience as a PIC is highly preferred. Valid California pharmacist license. Immunization certification required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Proficiency with McKesson Enterprise (ERx) pharmacy system.
