This direct hire position seeks a highly skilled clinical pharmacist to provide expert oncology care across inpatient and outpatient settings. Key Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive medication management, including lab test ordering, therapy selection, and adverse event management. Verify chemotherapy orders for accuracy, appropriate dosing, and patient safety. Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, manage side effects, and support medication adherence. Collaborate closely with providers and nurses during clinical rounds to optimize patient care. Participate in clinical trials, oversee investigational drug management, and contribute to the development of oncology protocols and guidelines.

Qualifications:

PharmD or BS in Pharmacy. Eligibility to obtain California pharmacist license. PGY2 oncology residency or fellowship, OR PGY1 plus a minimum of 3 years' experience as a clinical oncology specialist, OR 5 years' clinical oncology specialist experience. Board certification in oncology (BCOP) preferred. Proven advanced clinical expertise in oncology pharmacy practice (beyond staffing experience).

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, day shifts.
