Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A hospital-based pharmacist role is available for a licensed California pharmacist with relevant hospital experience. This position is contract-based, starting ASAP, and is scheduled for a minimum of 13 weeks. The facility is currently using Cerner and Omnicell systems and plans to transition to EPIC soon.

Key Responsibilities:

Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently. Supervise pharmacy technicians, ensuring smooth daily operations. Consult with physicians and nurses to provide expert pharmaceutical guidance. Manage pharmacokinetics-related tasks to optimize patient care. Adapt to evolving electronic health record systems, including upcoming EPIC conversion.

Qualifications:

Active California Pharmacist license. Experience working in a hospital pharmacy setting. Familiarity with Cerner and Omnicell systems preferred. Strong communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
