Job Summary:
- We are seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications in a retail setting, and ensuring the safe and effective use of pharmaceutical drugs.
Duties:
- Dispense prescription medications to patients and offer expertise in the safe use of prescriptions
- Provide patient counseling on medication usage and possible side effects
- Conduct medication therapy management and utilization reviews
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care
- Manage inventory levels to ensure availability of medications
- Utilize aseptic techniques in preparing sterile products
- Administer medications in acute care settings such as the ER or critical care units
- Monitor patients undergoing acute pain management
Requirements:
- Registered Pharacist in the State of Forida
- Strong knowledge of patient care practices, acute care, and critical care environments
- Proficiency in medication administration and inventory management
