Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract Soliant has openings for Inpatient Staff Pharmacists for13-weekk or longer local contracts at a hospital in South Florida. We have two shift options available so you can choose the schedule that works best for your life. Healthcare, Pediatric Hospital Pharmacy Two Shifts Available Afternoon Shift 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM, 5x8-hour shifts, rotating weekends Overnight Shift 11:00 PM to 7:15 AM, 5x8-hour shifts, rotating weekends Responsibilities Verify and process pediatric medication orders accurately and efficiently using EPIC. Perform pediatric-specific dosing calculations and weight-based dosing adjustments. Supervise and support pharmacy technician staff throughout the shift Consult with physicians and nurses on medication therapy and patient care needs Perform pharmacokinetic monitoring and dosing adjustments for targeted medications Ensure safe medication dispensing and regulatory compliance throughout all operations Provide clinical coverage across pediatric hospital units during scheduled shifts Collaborate with the interdisciplinary pediatric care team to optimize patient outcomes Experience Pediatric or NICU pharmacy experience highly preferred; this is a strong preference for this role. Inpatient hospital pharmacy experience required Pediatric dosing and weight-based calculation experience preferred EPIC experience required or strong experience with comparable clinical system Skills Strong clinical judgment in a pediatric inpatient environment Comfortable with weight-based pediatric dosing calculations and clinical decision-making Effective communicator with physicians, nurses, and pediatric care team members Reliable and consistent across rotating weekend schedules Compassionate approach to care in a pediatric patient environment Qualifications Active Florida Pharmacist License required EPIC experience required Soliant offers Licensing Assistance if you are not yet licensed in
